have recently downloaded 9 series and now all of my music (1800 mp3 files) play distorted (off tune), sounds like playing at slower speed but speeding up song just make it play faster than normal and still distorted. All my other media players as well as prevoius windows media players have no problem.

Also, Windows Media Player 9 series the past betas, and this latest release candidate suffers from full screenolous, it wont play none of my mpeg files in full screen, it just goes back to window. ( RealOne Gold has no problem with full screen playback, heck not even the previous Windows Media Players 6.4 & 7.1).

The problem is the mpegs play on some Windows Media players and not others. The systems it runs on are XP WMP9 not sure of version 2000 WMP9 9.00.00.3008 XP WMP9 9.00.00.3008 I have even gotten it to run on VMware with WinXP But it won't run on a WinXP box and a Win 2000 box the Win 2000 box has WMP9 9.00.00.3008

Any HDCD support would have to be in the DVD or CDRom drives, not in the media player/sound card. Depends on which release of Windows Media Player we are talking here.

I want to play 24 bits AIFF audiofiles with windows media player v9. The K-lite codec pack 3.70 doesn't work either. Most players play the 24 bits wav files but not the 24 bits AIFF. I do not want to use the program Foobar or Winamp, I like to use as less possible media players as possible.
